Professional Development Sessions

The Moving Knowledge model Professional Development workshop will assist your staff to develop an enhanced curriculum for your students.

The workshops provide staff with the skills, tools and confidence to offer movement, dance and drama activities and experiences that tie into everyday classroom learning areas.

Teachers do not need to have any Dance or Drama experience or knowledge to implement the Moving Knowledge model – it is simple and fun.

Moving Knowledge facilitates the infusion of Dance into the classroom curriculum without taking away from other important studies – instead supporting alternate subject areas through a broader level of engagement.

This system upgrades the skills of classroom teachers and avoids the need for external ‘Dance and Drama’ providers.
