Boys Love Dance (really, they do!)

When boys are given the opportunity to create physically, using their bodies to express ideas and concepts without the constraints of a ‘dance school’ mentality, it is mostly big, dynamic, abstract, crazy, explorative and alive.
Boys engaged in dance can lead to powerful outcomes. They become:
- constructive
- creative
- explorative
- team oriented
- problem solving
- communicative
- negotiating
- developers
- time keepers
- organisers, and much more.
Boys enjoy thinking mathematically and physically with their bodies; momentarily they become builders, construction workers, designers, architects, sport-stars, and stuntmen. They like to work with concepts that are immediately relevant to them, including sport, computer games, skate-parks, and more.
Are your boys learning through movement?
