Welcome to Moving Knowledge

“Learning through Doing… a moving curriculum”

_DSF7820Moving Knowledge  is a curriculum development model that provides classroom teachers with the unique, researched based tool-bag of skills to create a kinaesthetically engaging curriculum and learning environment that is moving, playful, experiential and that stimulates creative learning and awakens the somatic intelligence.

This system upgrades the skills of classroom teachers while reducing the need for external or specialist providers in The Arts.

Teachers do not need to have any Dance or Drama experience or knowledge to implement the Moving Knowledge model.

Moving Knowledge supports the infusion of the National curriculum Key Learning Areas with The Arts. The integration of these areas of study means that The Arts does not take away from important subjects – but promotes a deeper learning, expression and engagement with all subjects.

The Moving Knowledge model allows Early Learning, Primary and Secondary Schools to integrate ‘The Arts’ into everyday classroom settings and to meet the standards of the National Education Curriculum.

Moving Knowledge will help your school develop a curriculum that is engaging, playful, creative and physically experiential . Moving Knowledge can be easily implemented by classroom trained teachers and links directly to core subject areas within the National Curriculum.
